I hope to make the judgement available in several versions for both the Macintosh (MacOS) and PC-compatible (Windows 3.1, Windows 95, and Windows NT 3.5.1). Just click on the appropriate link to download the file. These files have not been compressed. These files are as provided by the European Court to us. We have made no changes to content or format.

I have been informed by people at the Court that these files may be freely distributed. I’d suggest, however, that you don’t modify them before you copy them.

Macintosh

Spanner, in WordPerfect 5.4 format, Laskey54.WP (111kB) Spanner, in text format, Laskey.txt (43kB) File contains the formatted judgement of the Court in the Laskey, Jaggard, and Brown v. The United Kingdom case (also known as the "Spanner" case). The WordPerfect file will open in Word 5.1a for Macintosh as a WordPerfect 5.1 document. The conversion from WordPerfect format takes a bit of time, and there is minor header garbage, but, after that, the text is fine.

Windows 3.1, 95, and NT 3.5.1
